It's exactly what I wanted. Had a Andrew James before and it was a real struggle with shallow pans - not an issue with this one! The stone is also a very neat thing to have. I did a lot of research into raclettes before buying as I didn't want to get disappointed again,and Severin is a good quality,reliable brand and we tested it - highly recommendable!
