as a stand alone amp it is ok. to get the best out of it you need to connect external effects. i use a zoom G1 FOUR multi f/x unit which vastly improves the sound, both clean & distortion. it has more than enough volume for home practice & with the added f/x & a tweak of the eq the sound it delivers is superb. well built & looks great

Perfect for what I needed, a practice amp for getting back into playing electric guitar after a long break. It sounds great for the price and pretty punchy for it's size. It is also good through headphones as well. PMT service was excellent , the amp arriving earlier than I expected

Excellent service. I am really happy with the amp too, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a small practice amp. It sounds good clean but I got it particularly for the overdrive which gives it that classic 60's British blues invasion sound, and I wasn't disappointed. When turned right up it has that classic crunch without becoming too muddy. It is also solidly built and looks like it can take a bit of beating. Definitely value for money.
