Yamaha BB 235 Raspberry Red

Not the most expensive bass but a big upgrade on my old 4-strong - and it really showed. First gig with it the rest of the band LOVED the improved tones - clear, warm, precise. And it looks gorgeous.

Rated 5 stars as I think this guitar is fantastic value. However, for me, the string spacing was a little too wide so I disappointingly will take advantage of the exchange option that GuitarGuitar offer.

Really impressed by this. I was looking for a bass guitar to add bass parts to some electronic tracks, and I needed the low B. I also needed something versatile, that could get the right tone for deep, modern pop basslines but also more trebly, Simon Gallup/Peter Hook style bass lines to sit further forward in the mix. This sounded great straight away: set up nicely, comfortable neck, decent strings, good sustain. The finish is great for the price (doesn't stack up next to more expensive instruments, but I wouldn't expect it to) and it feels like the tradeoffs were made in all the right places.

Excellent service from friendly knowledgeable staff when I was looking for my 1st bass. Great product , looks great and sounds good. Top quality for the price.
