As I've always found with Yamaha's guitars the quality is well beyond the price range

Bought as backup guitar but it's unique sounds means it will feature on certain songs. Neck plays well, bass sound bright and punchy. Easy to setup. Change strings to suit your style. Buy you want be disappointed at its price.

Brilliant beginner bass but I guess it would be ideal for those who have been playing for a while too. Arrived ready to play apart from tuning although I dropped the action a bit. The neck is really smooth and overall a delight to play.

For someone returning to bass after years of lapsed practice, this was ideal. Great sound, not too weighty and a simple elegant design.
