Went in to the Edinburgh store. Staff couldn’t not have been more helpful. Mentioned the 3 guitars I was interested in. The assistant got them all ready and also provided a set of headphones for me to test without disturbing others. Ended up getting the Gibson LP Standard. Would thoroughly recommend, ended up being in the shop over 2-3hrs and never felt rushed.

A genuinely amazing guitar, it looks amazing, the maple top is stunning, especially paired with the cherry coloured mahogany back and neck. It plays great, the 60s slimtaper neck makes it easy and enjoyable to play, especially with the low action (the set up is exactly perfect). It’s sounds incredible, the custombuckers give the perfect growl in the bridge, and a smooth, rich tone in the neck. The experience of buying the guitar was really nice also. The decision to buy the guitar was easy, everything felt, looked, and sounded incredible

This is absolutely what you're looking for. Flawless. This feels and plays the way only a Gibson does. I've been looking at these Les Pauls since I was about 16 years old. Never thought I could ever actually own one. Now at 59 years old, thanks to zZounds, I finally got it. Just do it. You won't regret it. And you won't find a better company to order from. I know, you might think you want to check it out at a music store before you buy. But remember, IF you can find anything wrong with it, you can return it.
