Gibson Les Paul Junior Ebony

Great folk to deal with and love all my guitars I bought from Guitar Guitar over the years.

Ich muss offen gestehen, ich habe die Les Paul Junior Ebony wegen der Optik und wegen ihrer Gibson-Herkunft gekauft. Die Gitarre sieht (in meinen Augen) nicht nur klasse aus, sie ist in allen Details hervorragend verarbeitet, der Koffer rundet den positiven Gesamteindruck ab. Sie spielt sich auch wunderbar, wie eine Gibson eben. Der Sound des einen Tonabnehmers ist brilliant in den Höhen und hat sehr viel Dynamik. Dies führt zu Störgeräuschen bei bestimmten Klang- bzw. Effekteinstellungen, die sich nicht immer unterdrücken lassen. Daher auch jeweils ein Punkt Abzug bei Features und Sounds. Dennoch: Gesamturteil "einfach schön".

I was after a decent guitar for my grandson who is really getting into guitar and I have a Les Paul junior myself as I am a big fan of Leslie West and Mountain.. so I thought it would be ideal for him ..my local Guitar Guitar in Edinburgh didn’t have any in stock but Colin tracked one down in the Camden store and he arranged for it to be shipped up. I picked the guitar up after a few days and am really pleased with it. Although classed as a ‘student’ instrument it is every bit a quality Gibson guitar and I know he will love it. Many thanks and kudos to Colin at Guitar Guitar Corstorphine for his excellent service and attention.

Great compliment to my Gibson Les Paul Tribute. Such a punchy sound with just the one pickup. Gibson may have gone back to basics, definitely have not compromised on quality. She looks gorgeous.

Yea great guitar, as all the reviews say this is a bit of a beast. It’s very simple, but you know what you are getting with this. Great tone from the p90, really has something special to it, if you want that stones/blackberry smoke raw blues or all the punky green day stuff, it’s damn good. Set up on this is also spot on from Gibson, they have really come on recently, it’s perfectly set up, frets are all really well finished, nut is cut well. Neck on this is nice, but more chunked than regular Gibson but still easy to play. Come with a great case & stuff too.
