Clinique Take The Day Off Charcoal Detoxifying Cleansing Balm 30 ml

I bought this for my holiday but on arriving opened it up to see it was black, So anyway I tried it didn't like it at all face was black hands were black cleansing cloth was black it went under my nails won't by again. So next day on holiday I had to go and by some of the clear balm. Should make container different from the other balm as I think a lot of buyers will pick it up by mistake.

Been a user of the original balm ( love it to) for years but decided to swap to this and OMG i love it! Absolutely perfect for my oily skin, its very strange to start with a black balm , yes i agree. Now i use grey washcloths to remove it as i think if you use whites it can stain, dont fund it doesn't makes a big mess as i read some reviews saying, Highly recommend this balm for oilier skin-types

I have combo/oily skin and this works well for me but as a double cleanse as directed. It is not meant to be used alone for makeup removal.I do appreciate the comments about the original and it would be nice to have the option of both. Moving to just charcoal is a big change for long time users.

I have dry combination skin with rosacea. This balm isn’t as smooth melty as original but still soft compared to many other balms. It’s messy, I massage it into dry skin then let it sit whilst I get shower ready, massage through eye lashes (dissolves mascara without tugging) then add a little water. Massage a little more and wash off. I like this one for summer, doesn’t irritate my skin and since leaving it on for a few moment before emulsifying like a mask I feel it has helped with the odd spot I can get from sweating in the heat.
