Das Roccat Syn Pro Air ist ein leichtes, kabelloses Gaming-Headset mit gutem Klang und solidem Mikrofon. Es sitzt auch bei langen Sessions bequem und der Akku hält lange. Die Software ist jedoch eingeschränkt und wirkt unfertig, zudem fehlen physische Tasten. Es ist nur eine kabellose Verbindung per Dongle möglich, was die Flexibilität einschränkt. Die Verarbeitung besteht komplett aus Kunststoff und wirkt weniger robust als bei der Konkurrenz. Die Geräuschisolierung ist schwach, Umgebungsgeräusche sind hörbar. Für Gamer, die Wert auf Komfort und Klang legen, ist es eine gute Wahl, aber es gibt Alternativen mit besserer Verarbeitung und mehr Funktionen.

The Roccat Syn Pro Air impresses in most of the areas that matter, not least sound quality and comfort. It'll only work fully with Windows, and the software is still a work in progress, but if you need an affordable wireless gaming headset then this might well fit the bill.

Third ROCCAT headset. First wireless. Like the other products, great product. Wireless works for about 24hr nonstop. Reception from the dongle, is enough to cover our whole small house. Microphone mutes as soon as you lift it up since it is easy to forget you are wearing it and go places where you don't want the mike on :) . Light enough to wear and not notice it. Will have to wait to see how the ear cups last since that has been an issue with previous ROCCAT's and other headphones.

Good quality but somehow the USB transmitter bug a bit and make some sound distortion that make this 2 star.

The Roccat Syn Pro Air sounds good on paper, but it doesn't deliver. A lightweight design and great sound are undercut by its all-plastic construction, poor software and missing options. It's available for slightly cheaper now that it’s been out for a while, but with a $150 MSRP, there are better choices.

While the Roccat Syn Pro Air looks fantastic, has a great soundstage and comes with a decent mic, the manufacturer seems to have forgotten about the rest of the most basic bits – namely, sound quality and software support – which leaves us feeling disappointed.
