Poly Plantronics CS 520 NC schnurloses Dect-Headset

I bought this for work from home so I would have the freedom to walk around the house while working. I couldn’t get it to work. I called tech support and Amazon tech support and after a week of nothing I just returned it. I could hear callers but they couldn’t hear me no matter what I did.

I have been in and out of call centers for most of the last 20 yrs so I have quite a bit of experience with both corded and wireless headsets. I bought this after moving my work home and it was a great decision, in part based on the brand. Distance is the biggest plus - I can walk through my whole house and never lose signal or the ability to mute. Also, the controls on the headset are very convenient and easy to use. Quality is good to excellent, with a bendable mic. Finally, this will go all day with constant use, go on the charger and re-charge in less than 30 mins. One "dislike" is the the way it sits on the charger is a bit awkward especially if you have the headset fully extended. This isn't an issue if you have a smaller head.

This is a great headset- use with an avaya phone that uses vpn. This headset hard wires to the back without any other purchases needed. Headset stays charged well after my ten hour shift. Easy to mute and control volume from headset. I feel independent and able to move around my house. I’ve walked around my front and backyard and have yet to drop a call due to range issues. Super easy to setup- no changes needed for my avaya or computer. I do charge after every shift. Ear covers are nice and comfortable and headset is able to move to accommodate movement.

I worked for a call center before transitioning to work from home. This is by far the best, most comfortable headset - covers both ears, good price point. Sound quality is top notch. Customer support is great as well as I had to interact with them once. Convenient mute button on headset!
