Das PlayStation Portal Remote Player Midnight Black ist ideal für PS5-Besitzer, die flexibel spielen möchten, ohne den Fernseher zu nutzen. Das Gerät liegt sehr bequem in der Hand und das große LCD bietet ein angenehmes Bild. Die Leistung ist bei stabilem WLAN ausgezeichnet, und der Akku hält lange durch. Allerdings ist das Gerät vollständig von einer PS5 abhängig und funktioniert nicht eigenständig. Bluetooth für kabellose Kopfhörer fehlt, und das Display ist auf 1080p ohne OLED oder HDR beschränkt. Für Nutzer, die zu Hause flexibel spielen wollen, ist es eine gute Wahl, aber keine vollwertige Handheld-Konsole.

I’m a bit disappointed mainly because PS Plus cloud games are still not available in South Africa, and it’s unclear if or when this will change (once it does then definitely that will bump up the portal to 4 or 5 star). You also need a very stable internet connection otherwise the screen quality drops noticeably and affects gameplay. Otherwise under ideal conditions its fine

Doesn’t work without a PS5, or with the PS5 being off and on a different network. It is USELESS!!!

So far I am really enjoying this, it really is like having a PS5 in your hand, it is fun to play on it anytime wherever you are the only reason that it is not a 5 is because you need to own a PS5 of course and that the PS5 always needs to be on or in rest mode to enjoy, hopefully we will get the cloud function in the future that will assist us to play without having the ps5 on.

I'm definitely giving my Playstation Portal a 5-star rating, but if you decide on a PS Portal as well... the PS portal doesn't work without a Playstation5 console & also needs a strong wifi connection, which, luckily, I have, but otherwise, it's perfect for my needs Take-alot delivery was fast and friendly as always (thank you)
