Das Hori APEX eignet sich vor allem für Einsteiger, die ein günstiges Lenkrad suchen. Die kabellose Funktion und die gummierten Griffe sind Pluspunkte, aber das Fehlen von Force Feedback und die schwachen Pedale sind Nachteile. Auch der begrenzte Lenkwinkel und die steife Feder mindern das Fahrgefühl. Für Gelegenheitsspieler geeignet, für Simracing weniger.

Lack of force feedback or decent pedal actuation on this PlayStation wheel means that serious virtual racers will rule it out, but Hori does at least bring a tidy cable-free solution to the space. Rookies likely won’t mind the plasticky feel or over-tight centering spring though, so it’s a foot in the door that’s hobbled by design flaws but functional enough for entry-level enjoyment.

Bought as new but box may be damaged. No instructions, and part broken . Bought as a Christmas present for our son and return window closed. Very disappointed son

I use this for playing gran turismo on ps4. Initially I was disappointed, but with an hour search on google and a number of YouTube videos later, I realised that all you need to do is put the steering wheel into S mode ( the middle toggle switch) and it works how you would expect it to. Then fine tune the settings within the game and you’re good to go. It may not be the greatest wheel out there, but there has been a huge improvement in my PS4 driving!
