I bought a Billingham bag recently and wanted a place to keep bits and bobs handy. It is small, not really big enough to hold much in the of photo gear, but ideal for personal items. Looks great attached to the bag - I never take it off!

I use an L2 Alice bag for a Nikon Df kit with 3 lenses. The Avea 3 pouch snaps onto the end of the bag, looks original and gives me just a little more room. It holds a Nikon SB300 flash and an SC17 extension flash cord. Alternatively, the pouch can carry a pair of sunglasses. I originally hoped it would hold a lens - however, it is just a wee bit small for an SLR lens. It should easily hold a rangefinder lenses, perhaps up to a small tele.

Top notch craftsmanship but found too small to even fit a minolta light meter with its case.

In my previous short review of the Leica "Billingham' Combination Bag I stated that it was the perfect size for transport of the M8 with three or so lenses. However if on any occasion you wished to travel,hike,walk,etc with an extended Leica oufit (Visoflex, extra lenses etc then these AVEA 5 Pouches fit the bill very well. They easily attach to the ends of the Billingham Combination bag in a stable manner with twin straps so they do not wobble. Overall when added to the Combination Bag the appearance is of one identity. I talk in the plural as I purchased two of these pouches and depending on needs I use just the one or both. Being of the same constructional materials as the main bag they compliment it perfectly. They also have a drawstring internal seal and good padding. The overall size of the Combination Bag with one or two AVEA 5 Pouches attached is still modest. Again very impressed with quality, weight of canvas, leather trim and manufacture.
