Canon FA-DC67A Lens Filter Adapter

I purchased this to replace a pattern adapter from Amazon . I wish I didn’t bother with the Amazon one,buy this genuine adapter as pattern models don’t tighten on the camera and can damage the thread.

Got fed up using lens cap. Much easier to leave lens on using adapter. very happy with it.

Yes, it is more expensive than 3rd party adapters, but after trying to fit a third party one for two days, I gave up and bought the genuine article. It was ridiculously easy to fit. Much cheaper from Amazon than from Canon.

The adapter snapped securely into place on my SX-70. But when I tried to put a filter on, it wouldn't screw tightly into place. This meant that the filter was loose and in danger of falling off. The only fix I could come up with was to apply a think layer of plumber's Teflon. But that meant that the UV filter wouldn't come off and that I needed a second adapter for my polarizer.
