Ein Fernglas wo ich als Jäger sagen kann, man braucht eigentlich kein zweites mehr. Durch das geringe Gewicht hab ich es immer dabei und es steht den größeren Gläsern wie zum Beispiel 8/56 in nichts nach. Für die 10 Minuten Dämmerung bis man nichts mehr sieht, reicht es alle male.

Das Zeiss 8x30 SFL ist klein, leicht und leistet bei Tageslicht praktisch das Gleiche wie mein großes Zeiss 8x56 Jagdglas.

Good Points: I'm comparing with my Swarovski 8.5*42 EL WB Field Pro sued for birding. The Zeiss 8*30 binoculars are very light and compact with fast and very smooth focussing. Eye cups stay put where set. Very wide field of view. Sharpness, colour rendering and depth of focus not quite up with Swarovski, but the differences are very quickly forgotten in the field. The trade off with these astonishing light and compact pair of binoculars is marginally less good optics, but the price is almost half! The Zeiss have quickly become my 'go to' instruments. Improvement Points: Objective covers are fiddly and don't stay in place particularly well, compare Swarovski's which are much better. Eyepiece covers could have a little more play in the fitting so that they fall completely over the eyecups when they slide down the straps.
