Bought these for my wife as a second, smaller and lighter, set of binoculars for general use whilst out walking etc. Her other set are larger and heavier and more suited for use on game and nature reserves where you tend to be more static. She now rarely goes on a walk without them. Performance wise they are very acceptable considering the price with clear sharp focusing. Overall very please with them.

Gift for Dad. He liked them much better than his current cheapo binocs. Bright. A little larger than I expected but still a good size for hunting/hiking.

When I go an o birding trip, I take my 8x42 binocs, but on casual outings where birding is incidental, like family trips, these are easy to pack into a small bag, or pocket of a jacket and also light weight. Optics are not as good as full sized binoculars, but that's the tradeoff for small size and weight and lower price.

Tried these out, but they just didn't seem small enough to justify the restriction that 8x26 imposes on image quality. Went for a pair of truly compact double hinged roof prisms instead (plus a pair of only slightly bigger but much brighter and sharper Bushnell UHD 8x36's).
