Was trying to find a good balance of quality, compactness and price. This binocular checked all my boxes. The quality of glass is relatively good, and I am not expecting performance of Swarovski. Very reasonable performance in low light conditions. Great for travel, hunting and birdwatching

We bought these and a pair of Bushnell trophies at the same time to compare. I tested them along with 2 other people test them, without telling them pricing or any other info. Everyone had very similar comments. The Vortex were much quicker and easier to get a good clear picture. Much less difficulty with the black ring or shadows that can occur when looking through them. However, most people commented that once you did get the bushnells dialed in, they would produce a slightly crisper clearer image than the vortex. The Vortex are 3x’s the cost of the bushnells, so for this kind of cost difference, I would think they should be better in every facet and that’s not the case. However, when it comes to hunting, which is what I’m using these for, being able to quickly focus in on your target is paramount. For this reason, I do definitely prefer the Vortex. But again, they could be better.

These have clear optics and are nicely compact for travel and vacations. They are definitely going along on my Alaska cruise.

Really good glass for price. Compact enough to fit in front waist pack, but with the 38mm up front, great at low light (usually the limiting factor in purchasing smaller binoculars). Would definitely recommend
