Das Glas ist von der Haptik und Qualitätsanmutung auf den ersten Blick okay. Beim durchschauen offenbaren sich dann aber doch deutliche Schwächen. Verwaschene Bildränder etc.! Ständiges nachfokussieren nervt auf Dauer! Ich habe das Glas zurückgesandt und mich trotz doppeltem Gewicht, für das Steiner Wildlife 8x30 entschieden!!! Es hat für mich einen ganz entscheidenden Vorteil, nämlich eine doppelt, einstellbare (also auf beiden Seiten) Dioptrieneinstellung und natürlich im Vergleich zum 8x24, die deutlich bessere optische Vergrößerung. Das Steiner Wildlife 8x24 ging zurück, da es für meine Zwecke einfach das falsche Glas ist!

For the money, I reckon these may be the best lightweight small-size bins around. I did a lot of online research before choosing to buy these and haven't been disappointed in use. These are ideal for bird watching as they are light but very bright and the magnification is large enough but not too large. Close focusing is also good. I chose this model because they are waterproof, but for £50 less you could buy the same make Ultrabright bins of similar spec, from Steiner, just not waterproof. German made and feel very durable. Nice carrying pack, good comfortable neck strap. The eyepiece covers are a bit big and clumsy to fit. As a result I lost them off the bins at first use. However, the reason you pay the money is for the quality of the experience it offers. That's why they are "Tip top" in my view.

They've got good image quality and fold up nice and small. I'm very happy with them as a portable alternative to my main binos which are much bigger, heavier and higher quality.

Kurz und knapp: Sehr empfehlenswert! Dieses Fernglas ist ideal zum Mitnehmen, z. B. auf Wanderungen, da es klein und leicht ist. Gute Qualität, gute Vergrösserung, sehr schnelle Lieferung.
