Excellent! Perfect for close focus on insects like butterflies, dragonflies etc, then quickly refocus for birds etc. Should have bought this ages ago!

The close focus is why I bought the binoculars so that I can survey insects in particular. They do work but the tiny field of view makes the binoculars very difficult to use as it's almost impossible to track a moving object. I would like to return them and get my money back but have tried using them so doubt that Wilkinson will refund me!

Vor zwei Jahren gekauft und immer noch super zufrieden. Und schon mehrmals im Bekanntenkreis empfohlen. Aber nun lösen sich die schwarzen Gummiteile mit der "Pentax"-Beschriftung an der Oberseite. Und das ist nicht nur mir passiert, sondern auch einer Bekannten, die das Glas auf meine Empfehlung hin gekauft hat. Die Gummiteile sind nur geklebt. Bei Pentax angerufen (bzw. bei der Rüdiger Maerz GmbH in Hamburg, die im Impressum als Service-Ansprechpartner für Deutschland genannt wird), nur um zu fragen, wie ich den alten Kleber am besten entferne und ob sie mir einen Kleber für die (Eigen-)Reparatur empfehlen können und eine sehr unfreundliche Mitarbeiterin am Apparat gehabt, die einem ständig übers Maul fährt. Fazit: Glas super, Service unter aller Sau

Last year I lost a pair of Opticron binoculars I had purchased in 1995 and replaced with a pair of Hawkes,I wanted to add a pair of close focus bins so bought these and I am extremely satisfied with them for the price. They are now my go to bins.
