Nikon MONARCH HG 8x30

Ich besitze dieses Fernglas nun seit etwa einem Monat und bin mit der schnellen Lieferung, aber auch mit der Qualität des Instruments selbst sehr zufrieden. Das Bild ist scharf, flach, klar und kontrastreich. Das Fernglas ist kompakt und leicht. Der Fokusmechanismus ist superschnell, aber man gewöhnt sich daran. Man muss sich etwas Zeit nehmen, um den Umgang mit dem Fernglas zu erlernen, die Einstellung und auch die Art und Weise, wie man das Fernglas im Verhältnis zu den Augen hält, müssen stimmen, sonst besteht die Gefahr von Blackouts. Manchmal sind bei schwierigen Lichtverhältnissen auch interne Reflexionen sichtbar, aber das ist bei vielen Ferngläsern der Fall, auch bei deutlich teureren Marken. Also schnell zusammengefasst, für mich ein guter Kauf.

Unfortunately the FIELD FLATTENER inscription on the casing of the binoculars seems to be just a joke of the producer. On the edge of the field there is a really huge blurry area, practically as big as the one you see on the edge of the Monarch 7 8x30, a device three times cheaper, without any field flattener. It is an obvious slip-up.

A great, large, contrasty, pleasant and easy field of view. Perhaps a touch warm toned, with the contrast recalls the "look" of Leica but with better FOV than most of their offerings. Ergonomically they are great with good hinge tension and a smooth focus that is free of backlash. For me the eye relief works perfectly - The M7 8x30, Opticron Traveller and just about all other compact bins lack enough eye relief for me with glasses. With the M7 I have to mash my glasses into my face to get the full field of view but with these there is a couple extra mm available and I get a pleasant and easy, comfortable view without having to try too hard.

These are no better than the 8x30 Nikon M7's or Maven B.3's which are half their price . The eye cups are too short for the eye relief creating blackouts. I returned my quickly. No way are they worth $950.00.
