Nikon Fernglas Aculon A211 7x35

Worth reading some reviews about these first before you buy. Perfect for my purpose (wildlife) excellent optics and clarity. Only slight letdown is the nylon carry case.

Like: Sturdy build with rubberised body. Good strong comfortable neck strap. More than adequate lens covers. Great sharp focus and visibility. Feels solid when held. Good protective case. Dislike: Dioptre adjustment very stiff. Was set to centre position originally. Further heaving to adjust it didn't seem to make any difference so left in central position. They aren't light weight. With neck strap and case weighed in at 812g. All in all very pleased with them. (Of course they carry the reknowned name 'Nikon Acculon' being one of their mid range binocular). JG

We spent awhile researching which type of binoculars to buy, there are so many factors to consider. For bird watching and watching sports, these are perfect, I'm delighted with them.

What perfect "bins"! Light, good focus and not tiring to use. Used for shooting and birding. Just dont let them get wet. For the price an excellent product.

These are a good compromise between the tiny sporting binoculars and the huge high quality ED lensed ones. Like cameras, the best binoculars are the ones you have with you at the time. These are sufficiently compact and light that you will carry them and the magnification and image quality will make you glad you did. 7x magnification is ideal for hand held use giving a steady and large enough image. 35 mm objective lenses help that image be bright too. The image quality is on a par with a pair of 10x42 ED binoculars I have but with less (!) colour fringing. The 10x42's cost 3 times as much (although they are tougher, nitrogen filled and waterproof. Overall, good binoculars at a good price.
