Helles, klares Bild, Austrittspupille reicht auch für Dämmerung. Sehr feine, nicht irgendwann störende Strichplatte, Kompaß nicht beleuchtet. Hinterlinsenkappe leider nicht befestigt. Stand vor der Wahl, Minox-Macroscope oder dieses. Habe jetzt beide. :-) Aufgrund der Handlichkeit dieser Geräte werden sie meist benutzt werden - weil fast immer dabei.

Perfect...just what I needed. I wear glasses and the Minox are easy to focus and use. Optics are clear and bright even in cloudy conditions at dusk and dawn.

I purchased the Minox 7x42 MDC monocular as a smaller and lighter alternative to carrying binoculars hiking. I thought it would be useful for observing wildlife and for navigation with the compass. The ranging reticle isn't that useful for my purposes and I find it a little distracting when trying to view wildlife, but that's not what this product was really intended for. The optics are of excellent quality and the monocular housing is certainly well built. Overall, I am quite pleased with this item. It is a little larger than I imagined, but still half the size and weight of my Minox BV10x42 binoculars. The white housing is modern and elegant, but may not stay too clean during long outings in the woods. For the price, you can't go wrong with this product.
