Kowa Zoom Oculair TE-Z9B 20x–60x Wasserdicht für Spotting Scopes

Good Points: Just a great scope. Improvement Points: Nothing.

This is my second Kowa spotting scope and I believe there is no better value for money on the market. The scope is easy to use and yields excellent optics. My only reservation is the photo on the B&H website shows a scope complete with eyepiece. The equipment comes without the eyepiece so you better add about $350 to your purchase price.

love the brightness for bird watching and I'm anxious to try it on whale watching.

The gold standard for high power rifle competition!

I use this spotting scope for looking at rifle targets both during practice sessions and at actual Matched to read the markers. For many years I suffered along with an inexpensive $150 scope of my own and had to use our Team Captains spotter for serious use and anything beyons 100 yards. He has the older version of this same spotting scope. I looked at a few other scopes, but knowing the quality and reliability of his (I have used it for years afterall!) I bought this TSV-82 with the 20-60 zoom eyepiece. It is great! The 82mm size is good in lower light (as compared to a 50 or 65mm spotter) if you need this capability. I have also used it a couple times looking at animals at distance and what a revelation it is here as well.
