Hawke Edurance Ed 10x42 Fernglas

I wanted a scope to carry with me when doing multi-day hikes in the hills. Had to be durable, light and packable and provide quality optics. This has absolutely fitted the bill. The strap is a bit flimsy so worth upgrading but otherwise a great piece of kit.

Great binoculars for bird watching and general natural world use. They also give a decent view of the moon and some of the night sky. Bought on a discount which was an added bonus. The hard case may be useful to protect the binos for overseas travel, but I prefer my generic soft shell case for day to day use. Overall very pleased, and delivery was quick and easy too. Thankfully, I have a Vortex 10x36 monocular - for comparison. The larger 42 mm objective lens in this makes for noticeably brighter viewing ... for the price of being a tad heavier ... with a big lump on top.
