Better than expected for the money...very sharp, compact, light & sturdy. Doesn't include any lens caps though, so need to be careful when handling...that's the only reason for dropping one star.

Excellent pair of practical binoculars. Good balance of optics and size if you need a pair of easily carried binoculars for bird identification etc. Service from Castle Cameras was excellent too, with an order placed on 23rd December delivered the following day.

I bought these to take on holiday later in the year so haven’t properly tried them yet. However, they appear to be well made and come in a nice case. I’ve tried them in the garden and am impressed with quality of the vision, especially as I wear glasses. In fact these are the first pair of binoculars I’ve had that give me top quality vision when wearing specs. Nice size and lightweight which again makes for easy use. The only thing I’d say is although the actual binoculars have a good strap, it would be nice to have a strap option on the case. You would want to keep them in a case sometimes when wearing as they don’t have lens caps but I don’t have enough hands to hold both case and binoculars when using them. However, this is only a suggestion, definitely not a criticism and would certainly not have stopped me from keeping them.
