I bought the predecessor to this model 10 yrs ago when I had one marginally functioning eye. Since then that same eye became legally blind. This monocular has been my “go to” for distance viewing. Now that I dropped my scope and broke it, I’m buying the same product again. It has worked wonderfully for me.

I've recently become interested in watching the wildlife (mostly birds, rabbits, chipmunks, foxes, etc.) that are constantly in our backyard, so I figured I'd give this monocular a try since they got good reviews, are compact and seemed to pack a lot of bang for the buck.

Complete utter feces. Very cool. I love these a lot. Came as advertised-no complaints an excellent high-quality product I researched other sites user reviews find that others have recommended this. I found it really good after the use, it has ordered. Very, very nice

Bought these but they didn't come with a reticular scale in the view which I wanted. I returned these and bought the Vortex Solo R/T which had the features I wanted. The Blackhawk Monocular is built well feels good in the hands and is easy to use. It also has lens caps for both front and back a feature that I would want in a monocular. I would recommend it for a basic monocular.

I brought the monocular for multiple options. Wanted something smallish, lightweight, weatherproof and tough. Barska 10x40 BlackHawk monocular is all that. I pick this one up because all the reviews and a top 10 list says it's the best. It has only one fault. The quality of the lens isn't very great. Not very clear in the distance, gets a bit blurry. Have a 7x18 monocular and a Pentax 10x21 ucf. Both are crystal clear in the distance. Have read some review mention that the glass isn't the high quality as they say it is. Maybe why so cheap. If you want top quality, spend a bit more. Also don't believe everything reviews tell you.
