Works very well with my mac (after reformatting) and works fast. Great deal: 5Tb for this price. Make sure you protect this hdd well. I had to buy this one to replace an identical one that I dropped and it fell flat on the floor. Apparently, the heads do not retract when you disconnect this hdd, and the disks inside got damaged from the shock. So if you stay away from sudden drops, the harddisk is perfect.

Neat, compact and easy to operate, but data transfer speeds are very slow. You need to transfer data when you're away from your PC. Chose WD for reliability, so hopefully it lives up to that characteristic.
