Toshiba Canvio Basics, 4 TB, 2.5", 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1), Schwarz

it's as basic as described, does the job and with 2TB capacity, you're afforded much appreciated space, but it's very weak when i insert another usb and I'm using a 3.0 connect usb ports this one ejects itself and I'll have to insert it again, perhaps maybe that's due to being basic, but you may buy this if budget allows. but if you can save up, go for the other enhanced version

I was very surprised at the size. Really compact and easy to use. It took about 20 minutes to copy three years worth of files and photos.

This is my 4th toshiba drive - I buy 1 every year. Solid and never fails. I keep it plugged in - fast enough to work directly from - but I use it mainly to move jobs done from my ssd as backup. I am a photographer and work with 15-50GB files per shoot. This fits my workflow well. It backs up a job in a few minutes.
