Great machine. Makes a great cappuccino. I can custom and save every setting except asking for a double. That could be the one improvement.

Great machine, replacement with same machine which was 7.5 years old

I purchased a Breville Oracle Touch expecting a premium, long lasting machine given the price point (around $3,500 at the time). Unfortunately my unit developed serious issues after approximately 3 years of normal home use. The problems began immediately following a routine descaling cycle (as per the manufacturer’s instructions). During use, water began flowing from multiple outlets simultaneously and shortly afterwards the machine tripped the household circuit breaker. At that point I stopped using it due to safety concerns. As the unit was out of warranty, I was advised that I would need to pay for inspection and any repairs. Given the potential repair costs and the uncertainty around recurrence, I ultimately decided not to proceed with repair. For a machine positioned as a premium home espresso solution, I would have expected a significantly longer service life. Three years for a product at this price level feels disappointing.

After spending a great amount of time and effort dialing in the shot profiles I got the machine to make perfect extractions. After a couple of weeks use, the shots were under extracted. I take great care in cleaning the machine and have been a Breville owner for over 10 years. of the three Machines I currently own The Oracle Touch is the most inconsistent. besides the shot inconsistencies I find that the Grinder is unbearably loud.

Makes a decent coffee with nice foam but auto tamping feature is hit and miss and can't really be fixed from what I can see.
