I bought this to replace an old AVR which I have had for several years. I can't believe how much of an improvement this is - amazing sound, incredibly clear speech and very clear sound separation. I have set it up with Dolby Atmos upfiring speakers and the soundstage is amazing.

I bought a Marantz cinema 70s along with Klipsch R-40M, R-40SA, R-30CS and a R-101SW, lots of help from the sales team especially a guy called Jeff ,he was so helpful answer all questions professionally, the sound far exceeds anything I was expecting, totally excellent sounds especially the dolby atmos on both movies and apple music,also bought 2 pairs of mission stands which are great for the R-40M speakers ,look forward to purchasing from Richer sounds again

This device perfectly meets my needs. The start-up is well guided and the use is quite simple. The sound is excellent and on top of that the device is very beautiful!

We had an idea of what we wanted for our surround sound system, but it wasn't until we started speaking to Kal in store that we realised the limitations of what we wanted. His recommendations were spot on for our requirements and he went above and beyond to help build the system we wanted and has kept in touch to ensure that we're happy with it all. As for the equipment, the soundstage is brilliant, the quality is superb and the interconnectivity is excellent.

I bought this to replace a failed 1710 that was uneconomic to repair. Very happy with the sound improvements with this model, much deeper and cleaner bass, better options in the setup for HDCP and HDMI setting. Overall very happy. Lovely new design in the same slimline configuration is also very welcome.
