Der Sony UBP-X700K bietet beeindruckende 4K-HDR-Bildqualität mit Dolby Vision und HDR10. Er spielt fast alle Disc- und Dateiformate ab, einschließlich SACD und 3D Blu-ray, und verfügt über zwei HDMI-Ausgänge für flexible Installation. Ein Nachteil ist das Fehlen von WLAN und Streaming-Apps wie Netflix. Auch Bluetooth fehlt, und die Fernbedienung wirkt billig. Für physische Medien eine starke Wahl, für Streaming weniger geeignet.

Superb product, the only problem is, Dolby vision is NOT automatic… and, Sony could unlock the region via software….(same for the dolby vision issue)

I purchased new and have played around a dozen discs so far. All of the triple-layer/100 GB 4k Blu ray discs I've played freeze about 1h45 into the movie. The player needs to be turned off to resume. This has been frustrating and unacceptable for a device that has one job to do. I only gave it 2 stars because it does technically work for lower capacity discs, just not high capacity ones. Buyer beware.

I had the previous Blu-ray Sony model (pre 4KUHD) for 10 years and did not hesitate for a second in choosing Sony again when ready to upgrade. My choice has been 100% justified. Excellent intuitive controls & set up and wonderful, wonderful picture. Quality of the highest order in every facet of this excellent player.

I'd pay 2x for discontinued m800 size (my 1 stoped working after 3 years) ***stocking up with this model before it's DVD PLAYER ARE OBSOLETE*** I used both ubpx800/ubpx800m2 would rate 8/10 (sturdy, full size, streaming APPs, hi-res audio) ____ this model ubp700 (u) is SMALLER and a major downgrade with more fragile — plastic — parts. ***PICTURES for the most part are the same*** (A90k TV upscaling moreso) Used with Sony x800g & a90k TVs (also 3000ES AVR) Only positive is it's a UHD Blu-Ray player (Sony will be the last manufacturer) and I have a large library (hate streaming due to zero physical media @ can't download = Android boxes are obsolete and TVs don't have large/adaptable "onboard" storage required for STREAMING APPS downloads = limited to built-in SSD and not external HDD)
