Not the best but certainly far from the worst of Bill Murray 's output, it's a shame Paramount in Canada have decided to not include digital codes or slip-case for first pressings.

Recommended if you do not own the film on Blu-ray. This re-release offers nothing new but a slipcover and digital copy. This Bill Murray holiday send-up of "A Christmas Carol" provides spot-on black comedy and only unravels into sentimentality in its final act.

So don’t go out and get this disc expecting anything new: the transfer is the same, and so is the extremely meager bonus material. (Murray and Donner famously clashed during the making of this film, so I wouldn’t expect them to get together to reminisce about this movie anytime soon.)

Disconnected so called "critics"who just didn't get it. This movie has become a classic as one of the best Xmas films of all time. Has become a must during the holidays.

Exceeded expectations, especially given the middling reviews and cheesy trailer. Solid Christmas flick, even though I watched it over the summer. It's hard to say what makes a movie good, but it works. It's not hilariously funny, and you shouldn't go into it looking for belly laughs, but it does make you smile and give you a few feels along the way.
