This movie is so very awesome, because him was the begining of all the movies about police investigation. After this movie, so much movies copied the story about a police officer ivastigating a seriall killer. The script it's well built, the actuation of Clint Eastwood it's impeccable. If you not watch this movie, watch right now, because it's one of the best action movies and police investigation of all time.

Hard to imaging how this role that essentially added to Clint Eastwood's star status would have been had Frank Sinatra played the role as it was initially offered to him. Good thing old blue eyes passed on it. Dirty Harry is a classic right from the opening scene to the very end. Eastwood stood his ground, kicked a little ass and took names and in the end created a lasting character that is still quoted today and ran five films in the original series. Warner Bros dishes out a fine looking blu. PQ is quite good for such an older film and AQ is the right kind of balance for a more talkie type of film. Bonus features cover the impact of the movie and how it changed modern cinema and the countless imitations it has made over the years. A must own release as well as the entire series.

This movie really reflect how the and 60 & 70's look like This movie was make is probably due to several homicide from san francico area. The PQ is actually very good for such old film. They really did a good job take out most of the noise and make a sharper. If you watch the extra it show the original content look very awful and appreciate how much it got improve. The sound is top notch when there's bullet flying around, the opening music is nice. This is not better than unforgiven or gran turino but is still very good, i don't think this film are that realistic.

Dirty Harry 's digibook release is a strong one. It offers an attractive, wholly competent presentation of Don Siegel and Clint Eastwood's classic film, a decent TrueHD lossless 5.1 remix, and a generous supplemental package. Callahan fans will be a bit more impressed with the disc than newcomers but, at such an affordable price, most everyone will feel that they've made a wise purchase.
