Unequivocally the greatest of its kind, "The Naked Gun" is a gut-busting satire with just enough crass gags to make you want to roll on the ground in tears.

Be ready to be awed by this transfer from Paramount. They delivered a stellar transfer of a classic Leslie Nielsen film that hopefully will transcend generations. The transfer includes almost perfect depth in picture and vibrant color. Also, the megabytes per second hover around 35 Mbps and rarely drop below that number. The audio in the opening scene in Beirut tells you that you are in for a treat. The robust bass, the sound effects all are mixed well to the timing of the movie and demonstrates the work of Ira newborn well. There are only two extras to bat an eye at. A group commentary with the execs of the movie and the theatrical trailer.

The Naked Gun is a timeless classic. The laugh to gag ratio is off the scale and the movie never ceases to be hilarious no matter how many times you watch it. In short, The Naked Gun is one of the funniest films of all time.
