I will be taking this up with my credit card to get a chargeback after dealing with nonstop issues with HP. The WiFi connectivity is very inconsistent, the color ink “dried up” after minimal use over the course of a year and the printer refuses to print anything without all cartridges full, even on just black and white or grayscale, meaning I have to spend almost $150 for ink that basically evaporates and is grossly overpriced. I’d rather just pay per page somewhere because the upfront cost of the printer plus the ink is ridiculous and unnecessary.

There is a design flaw in the paper tray that causes the printer to jam. Doesn't work. Spent hours discussing with HP support and there's no fix. Have to send it to HP for replacement.

Don't waste your money. I had an HP printer before this. It was produced more than 10 years ago and performed better than this printer. This printer is slow, (sometimes takes more than 5 minutes to restart), has the exact same amount of features, costs more money, and forces you to buy HP's overpriced ink cartridges. It literally blocks aftermarket cartridges that don't have an "HP microchip". The only reason I upgraded was because the old one was stolen. It was a downgrade.10 years of innovation for essentially less features and firmware baked price-guaging.

I like the printer as a whole but I feel like in this day and age there really is no reason for a printer to print only in grayscale. On top of that, I felt like the printer was extraordinarily bulky whereas I've used printers that can do the exact same functions if not more including printing photographs that are half the size and a quarter of the weight of this printer.

The printer itself is great. The HP software for your PC/laptop is horrible! I can print docs from Word, Excel, etc. but over half of the time the HP software doesn't recognize that the printer exists. Due to the horrible software, you can't use your computer to scan! It doesn't work because it can't see the printer. I've fought with this thing for 1 1/2 yrs. There's not really any tech support that will assist. They want you to reinstall, check the plugs, all of the dumb things that are the issue. I don't recommend any printers from HP.
