This printer has probably been the biggest bane of my existence since i got it. - It has a USB port, but will actively stop printing after a few pages until you connect it to wifi. It also has a sticker on the port with a "nope" icon on it to actively hide it. - Connecting to wifi involves having to go through their HP Smart app. It's unnecessary and only serves as an advertising platform for HP to shove their Instant Ink deal in your face every time you try to use it. - Printing is painfully slow. - Ink cartridges say they can last 120 or so pages. I'd be lucky to get to 50 pages before needing to restock them. - Printer has to callibrate itself after replacing the ink, which prints out a test page and locking itself up until you scan the test page, wasting more ink. This thing would be better as a glorified paper weight. Or just throw it out the window and celebrate as it smashes into bits. Seriously. Don't buy this.

When I got it, the price was low - £40. Yes, it is easy to install and get into their inksupply program. Once you decide to cancel it your ink stops working even if it has ink in the cartridges... keep this in mind. Pros: The print quality was all alright I wouldn't recommend this printer, it makes you re-subscribe even when you don't need the extra ink. It's stupid. Do your research online, there are plenty of forums where people complain about HP ink program. Cheers!

Barely five minutes from its arrival the printer was unpacked, put the ink in place and got online and it was ready.

I bought this printer and foolishly signed up to the hp plan. Fast forward 1 year and I’ve received 2 reams of paper and a couple of ink cartridges. I cancelled it this week and now my printer is in error. When I print out what the error code is it’s asking me for payment. I bought this printer as a separate purchase to the hp plan and they have no right. The printer is great but hp plan - don’t get it.

The printer is fine however the ongoing support is poor. After two years, I have finally given up and consigned the printer to a cupboard. I would recommend simply buying a printer.
