It is super slow, it takes forever if you print anything 24’. I have printed couple stuffs and already out of ink! I always read the reviews before I buy anything on Amazon and this was the only time I was super disappointed! This printer worth no more than $500. I am thinking to return mine and get a different brand

This is a great printer. truely is. However, the ink cartridges HP712 are tough. And getting a board to bypass the ink cartridge checks or even the ARC chips if very difficult. And on basic principle I AM NOT BUYING HP INK and giving into the scam. ONLY BUY THIS IF YOU "are very tech savvy" and kind of enjoy figuring out little hacks no matter how stressful. Or prepare to pay all extra money for office HP ink (as if there is a difference) Ive used 3rd party ink in all my cannons and this HP as well will equal results for years and years. (Cannon aren't scumbags about it making you fight for it though) Until some boards or arc chips are highly available I'd personally spend the extra money on another canon to avoid the stress. If you are not tech savvy avoid!!! However, Great Printer! But HP should put on trial for the tricks they pull to scam you into their ink.

Replaced my old plotter with this unit. I wish I did it sooner.

Had a few issues aligning the single paper feed, but eventually it took when I used a more sturdy and appropriate paper. The paper Roll was a better choice, it automatically just cuts the paper into alignment....The ink ran out fast but then again I was printing pretty huge color images. My larger digital flower painting printed out pretty good, and not bad when compared to the smaller more professional prints. Probably not the best for fine art but if you have some tricks up your sleeve, a little patients you can make it work. Not all fine art will look good with this printer, you just have to be able to see with one will. Overall I'd say its a good investment and I'm still seeing what I can do with it.. love it.

We print A LOT of 24 x 36 architectural plans. It is easy to use and we love the convenience. Prints great in black and white and color. Highly recommend.
