Epson Xp-4200 Multifunktionsdrucker

Purchased in January, worked OK at first. It prints quite faintly (not great colour saturation - blacks look grey, etc) but I tolerated that. Within 6 months, it is now un-usable. Recently while printing as I normally do, it suddenly made a horrible grinding noise as paper suddenly got jammed. We fixed it, and it printed ok again, but then the alignment went funny (printed on a diagonal to the page) and it made the horrific scary grinding noise again. I am scared to try it again. I have since purchased a different CHEAPER printer, and it's so much better than this one. I took good care of it, and used it fairly regularly to print out a couple of pages per week/month for my home business and journalling/scrapbooking. No heavy use, no inappropriate paper used in it, etc.... and it didn't even last 6 months. Really disappointed in this, as I had done a lot of research and it seemed like a good at-home printer for my needs. :(

Good basic printer. I like having separate ink cartridges. Connected up easily.

Print quality is good. But very in printing. Scan quality is very poor. Scanning is too slow

I bought for my early birthday presents and the sheet of the printing is top class and good clear printing and reading! Happy to have a decent printer!!

Set up to WiFi took me a while. When set up connection through App so quick uncomplicated with no glitches between iPhone or iPad. Great to have smooth transition to double sided printing. Compared to previous used low priced Cn this is superlative, pleasant to use without great expense. The inks were also easier to install than Cn. Cannot comment on ink life or cost of replacement ink as yet. I am an occasional user and no longer dread faffing around to print …this is slick.
