Since day one had trouble with the machine printing off a second, blank label for who knows what reason. So 50 labels turn into 100, every second completely blank. So much wastage, expense, and man hours trying to fix. No one answers the phone or email, don't bother with Brother.

From website: "From inventory and shipping to shelf labelling – you can now easily and affordably produce the labels you need, with the reliability and support that only Brother delivers." Then it turns out I in fact cannot print auspost shipping labels on it. nor is it compatible with Mac. So I bought a dud.

We used one of these as a printer for date labels in a commercial kitchen. With a wide range of labels available we opted for some pre-printed ones with days of the week. This made labelling food stock an absolute doddle with total accountability and it's much faster than writing them by hand. Great little printer with excellent range for wireless and bluetooth.

Bought this to try and speed up printing DHL shipping labels and frankly I wish I'd not bothered. The print quality is mediocre at best and for a printer that costs 450 to not have any sort of built in label cutting is criminal. It's another nearly 100 for that add on btw so if you're using continuous tape you'll need to factor that in too. It's also incredibly noisy if you're printing a lot. I'm hugely disappointed to have spent so much on what I believed was one of the best label printers around when I could have probably have found something half the price and with a cutter built in. Avoid.

This is an amazing desktop thermal printer. For iOS devices this is pretty much the best you can get. It uses non-proprietary labels and is a 300dpi printer. The only thing I found that I dislike about the printer is that it won't print wirelessly from Android devices because of a support issue. Hopefully Brother will fix this in an android app update. The QL1110NWB works with android and ios but it uses proprietary labels, this one doesnt use proprietary labels but wont work with android as of Feb 2021. Hopefully Brother will read the reviews and get some app engineers on this. Still a 5 star printer.
