Das Yamaha MG16XU ist ein beliebtes 16-Kanal-Mischpult für Bands, Kirchen und kleine Veranstaltungsorte. Viele Nutzer loben vor allem die klare Klangqualität der D-PRE-Mikrofonvorverstärker und die praktischen One-Knob-Kompressoren auf den ersten acht Kanälen, mit denen Gesang und Drums schnell gut klingen, ohne viel Technikkenntnis. Die integrierten SPX-Effekte und das 24-Bit/192 kHz USB-Interface erleichtern es, Live-Auftritte oder Proben direkt auf einem Laptop aufzunehmen. Es gibt jedoch einige Punkte zu beachten: Bei hoher Gain-Einstellung ist mehr Rauschen hörbar als bei teureren Pulten, die Effekte sind hilfreich, aber nicht auf professionellem Studioniveau, und über USB lässt sich nur ein Stereomix, keine Einzelspuren senden. Für alle, die ein robustes, zuverlässiges Analogpult mit gutem Grundsound und einfacher Aufnahme suchen, ist es dennoch eine sehr starke Option.

Ich benutze das Pult regelmäßig im Musikverein. Hauptsächlich für Live-Mixing. Z.b Band oder Chor + Klavier. Dabei macht das Pult einen sehr guten Job und mir mit den Kanal-Gruppen das Leben einfacher. Die Bedienung ist sehr intuitiv und die Ausstattung gut. Was ich vermisse sind Inserts pro Kanal, aber sonst bin ich mit dem Pult sehr zufrieden.

Bought to accompany a pair of Yamaha DBR15 powered speakers. The speakers already sounded great but when used with this mixer the matching was perfect and the sound was fantastic. The mixer does a good job a mixing a 7-piece rock band, with a good balanced sound. It's easy to use and reasonably well spec'd for the price. The built in effects are very mediocre, some have little effect even when set to max. Most are a bit gimmicky as well. Basic reverb etc is ok though and that's all I need to use. The compressor on mic inputs is a welcome addition. It hasn't been used enough to establish the effectiveness of it yet though! Overall, for the price it's a a great sounding, well built board. I don't regret the choice over the huge number of alternatives in this price bracket!

Great unit. Lots of features for a mixer this size. The plate reverb is excellent. Be careful with the rackmount screws, the heads are a little soft...make sure you find a screwdriver with an exact fit. Also note that there isn't a massive amount of choice for bags and cases for this model

We didn’t need fancy processing just simple live mixing in a church and operation by non sound geeks. This works a treat for us
