Das Yamaha AG06 MK2 BK ist ein kompakter Analogmixer und USB-Audiointerface, das besonders bei Streamern, Gamern und Podcastern beliebt ist. Gegenüber der ersten Generation bietet es zwei XLR-Eingänge mit gemeinsamer 48V-Phantomspeisung, sodass nun zwei Kondensatormikrofone gleichzeitig genutzt werden können. Die Loopback-Funktion und die Möglichkeit, zwei Geräte parallel anzuschließen, sind praktisch, wenn man auf mehrere Plattformen streamen möchte. Die integrierte DSP mit Kompressor, EQ und Reverb wird häufig gelobt, ebenso wie die klare Klangqualität und die einfache Bedienung. Gleichzeitig bleibt die Zahl der Eingänge für größere Bands oder Studios begrenzt, und vieles wird über Drehregler statt Fader gesteuert. Einige Einstellungen müssen über Software vorgenommen werden, was weniger direkt wirkt. Für kleine Studios und Content-Creator, die eine All-in-one-Lösung suchen, ist es dennoch eine starke und vielseitige Option.

I purchased the mixer to record acoustic guitar using a condenser microphone. It has inbuilt compressor and eq for channels 1 and 2 and also includes amp simulation on channel 2. This works very well with the Yamaha downloadable Windows application, the settings are saved to the mixer so the app isn't required for the mixer to function. The mixer is very well made and surprisingly small so doesn't take up too much desk space. I'm very pleased with the mixer and also the service provided by PMT.

Great little mixer. Good for portable use. USB powered is nice to have. Does what you need it to, at a good price.

Product description says it will work with IPAD 2. Not so. You must download specific software for recording that you may not want to use. Convoluted and tedious downloading and licensing processes. IPAD requires several different apps to use this product also. 60 cycle hum at medium to high gain levels. No response from tech support. Tried several different instruments and cords ect, could not illiminate hum. Could not use the high resolution USB port without Cubase Ai. I use Auria and the bit length and sampling rate are incompatible. Sound from the analog outputs was good other than the 60 cycle hum. Too much trouble for simple IPAD recording. If you want to use something other than Cubase for your recordings, look somewhere else.
