Das Mackie 402 VLZ4 ist ein ultrakompakter 4-Kanal-Analogmixer, der für sein sehr geringes Rauschen und hohe Headroom gelobt wird. Die zwei Onyx-Mikrofonvorverstärker bieten einen großen Gain-Bereich und klingen sauber und transparent, was ihn beliebt macht für kleine Live-Setups, Podcasting und Heimstudios. Das robuste Stahlgehäuse und die abgedichteten Regler sorgen für eine lange Lebensdauer, auch im mobilen Einsatz. Dank Phantomspeisung und schaltbaren Instrumenteneingängen lassen sich Kondensatormikrofone und Gitarren direkt anschließen. Die Kehrseite ist die begrenzte Kanalzahl und das Fehlen von Effekten, Aux-Sends und USB-Interface, wodurch er sich weniger als zentrale Konsole für größere Bands oder direkte Computeraufnahmen eignet. Der einfache 2-Band-EQ bietet zudem weniger detaillierte Klangformung als größere Mischpulte.

This is the first Mackie product I have used outside of studio's I have worked in. It does everything I want it to do. It is being used for monitoring my drums for practice for ear protection. I can control the volume, still hear my drums to protect my ears. Once again, I received excellent customer service from Steve Price. Sam Ash is the best of all the music stores and sites I g to.

I use this to take the audio from my editing computer and split to my desktop monitors and headphones. It works perfectly and has a tiny footprint on my desk - exactly what I needed. Also great to pack up and take into the field for small audio jobs.

The only thing I can add to previous review is the power supply plug that it comes with is a 12volt dc output, 2 pin, with two prong plug vs the pictured 3 pin in back of mixer. Seems easier to get a replacement with the standard 2 pin. Mixer is quiet. Small but Hefty, the main out Left and Right 1/4 jacks won’t fit a neutrik male trs/ male xlr adapter side by side, need to use a 1/4 cables with xlr, or adapters. Otherwise I’m loving this small mixer

I needed a small mixer to practice my instrument (bass) and vocals through, using headphones. I had to have my iPhone playing music as well to learn songs. This little machine does this perfectly! With a couple of adapters for my iPhone and headphones, I can practice away without annoying my wife or the neighbors. With the possible exception of my singing, that is! Very affordable, and with Sweetwater's amazing customer service and shipping, you can't beat it.
