Behringer XENYX X1832USB 18-Kanal-Analogmischpult

I bought this mixer with only one thing in mind, edit svhs tapes, I even ask for info regarding this project. Well it does what it does I didn't expect anything better from, wrong I was surprised, when I switch the analog output to USB to my pc it cleaned a lot of humming and noises proper of the analog signal I was happy but, when it comes to mount it on a editing desk the location of the power switch becomes a problem it is placed on the back of the mixer, I thought, why they wasted so much space on the upper right corner of the mixer when they could have use it for the switches I personally would have prefer it. That alone droped my ratting to It's okay. ergonomics on equipment are essentials. sorry Behringer.

I am once again impressed with Behringers attention to detail. They seemed to have listened to the masses and brought what we wanted with quality. When they first hit the scene, quality was not what they became known for. But that has changed! I use the usb to laptop feature and love it! The controls are smooth and responsive. Even the detailed instructions help you setup for many differing situations.

Perfect mixer for a small band with bass, guitar, keyboards, drums, and a few vocals. Bought this and the EP2000 power amp instead of a powered mixer. From the on board compression to the channel inserts, to the 2 sub outputs there is so much more flexibility. Enough channels for the band. Drummer and Keyboardist can always run their own mixer into this board if more channels are needed. So far, so good.
