Excellent lens with use so far. Does all that I hoped it would.

With this lens I felt I could put my attention into composing and framing the shot, let the lens take care of focus and image quality across the entire frame. The zoom range is good, covering extreme wide to a more conventional wide view. Sometimes I like to creatively get close to a subject for dramatic effect, the close-focus ability at the widest 10mm setting is amazing, though getting too close can lead to difficulty with lighting the subject. Other times such as architectural shots, I make use of both the 3D horizon lines in the camera to avoid perspective distortion, or try a shot with the camera angled for a different effect.

Compact, lightweight and good image quality, well balanced on Fuji X-E5 as well as the larger X-T5. Would have preferred it to have an aperture ring, but in the end can manage with this compromise (it's easy to control aperture with dial on body anyway) to achieve the small size and weight for an f2.8 wide angle zoom

First time out with this lens Chinese New Year Manchester. First impression the lens is compact and light also I like not having an aperture ring this means that you cannot change the aperture accidentally. I was also impressed with the overall picture quality, the lens is sharp, contrast is good. I bought this lens to replace my Samsung 12mm F2 manual focus lens in comparison the Sigma lens which utilises the in camera corrections makes the Sigma a great choice especially with the versatility of being a zoom lens.

Did a Northern Lights cruise in 2024 and found that it would be nice to have a slightly wider angle lens and the Sigma 10-18m f2.8 compliments my FujiFilm X lenses ready for this years adventure.
