Die Canon EOS R5 mit RF 85mm F/1.2L USM bietet außergewöhnliche Schärfe und Bildqualität, selbst bei größter Blende. Der Autofokus ist schnell und präzise, was besonders bei Porträts geschätzt wird. Das wetterfeste Design macht das Set für den professionellen Einsatz geeignet. Das Objektiv erzeugt ein wunderschönes Bokeh und minimiert chromatische Aberration effektiv. Nachteile sind das hohe Gewicht und die Größe, das Fehlen einer optischen Stabilisierung im Objektiv (die Kamera gleicht dies teilweise aus) und der hohe Preis. Für kompromisslose Leistung ist dies eine Top-Wahl, aber es ist eine große Investition und weniger für diejenigen geeignet, die leichtes Equipment suchen.

Great camera with all cinema features in such a small and compact body.Capable of 8K Raw,with exceptional video and photography quality.

The R5 mk2 is a great improvement on the original R5. Much better autofocus and subject tracking and the pre-capture is excellent for wildlife, particularly birds in flight. The high ISO is perhaps not quite as good as the R5 but noise reduction software has improved in that time so its not so much of an issue. There are a couple of things that I find annoying: No lens hood is supplied and no printed user guide either. To charge another £44 for a plastic lens hood and not even show it as an optional acccessory when you are spending over £5k on a camera is not what I would expect from Canon.
