Creed Love in Black ist ein ausgeprägter Veilchen- und Irisduft mit einer dunklen, fast gotischen Aura. Viele Kenner loben die ungewöhnliche Kombination aus Veilchen, Iris, Schwarzer Johannisbeere, Zedernholz und Moschus, die sich nach einer eher scharfen oder sogar befremdlichen Eröffnung zu einem samtigen, pudrigen und sinnlichen Duft entwickelt. Der Duft verändert sich deutlich auf der Haut und wird oft als erwachsen, elegant und im Drydown leicht unisex beschrieben. I have used this perfume for the last 13 years and the first couple of bottles that I had lasted for 3 times longer than the last 2 bottles that I have had. I have not changed my application method in this time but I have noticed that bottles that have not lasted no longer have a clear bottom which adds to my suspicions that the bottles are no longer full when sold. It's completely put me off buying this again which is sad because I love the smell of it.
