Keeps the E5-2650 V3 around 50C at idle so the fan is not in the "slow speed" range which makes matters worse.. On another board/ open case, this same cpu watercooled never warmed up past 45C.

Was hoping it would fit under the air shroud and it did! Great part. If you're building a Supermicro server, do yourself a favor and stick to their chassis, board and necessary parts like this one. You'll thank yourself.

I'm glad I was able to make it work but a little upset it added 3 days to get the bracket in that was needed. Hopefully this helps a future purchaser save some time and headache.
