If you are trying to power a low power device like a Raspberry Pi then there isn’t enough draw to keep the power on. For higher consumption devices (like a Raspberry Pi + an SDR or other peripheral) it should work.

This device did a fine job for seven months, then failed. I tried to get it replaced under warranty but the tech people wanted me to spend far too much time on pointless data collection, asking me for model numbers of the devices that were attached to it, etc. Endless nonsense. So I gave up and bought another product by another manufacturer.

I bought two of these. Within 6 mos. one of them died. Tp link replaced it. 1 yr after purchase the second one died and i called tp link again. Never heard from them again they did not replace it or even respond back to me. Not a good product if it doesn't last more than a few months.

Worked ok for a while with the matching injector and provided 12v to my router. I could never get a solid gigabit signal though, and was limited to 100mbps. After shortening a cable run the router would still get 12V but not receive enough amperage. If anything it should be getting MORE power. This router provided internet to a section of our office so needless to say it was a hassle having this die. Purchased another AT/AF splitter and it is working flawlessly with the TP-Link injector.
