Marantz CD6007.This was delivered at the beginning of the week, I was sceptical as to whether I had made the right decision, as I’d been listening to my CD’s played on my blue ray player through my amp. The difference is staggering, I’m hearing things I never knew were there before. Little things like a tambourine just gently tapped, the short pedal lift on a piano piece. Extra notes being added to familiar tunes. Almost softer clearer, even when playing at a low volume the difference is clear to hear. I thought I’d imagined some of the changes until I replayed them to confirm

First upgrade since my 1986 Sony cd, excellent sound, separation and depth. I would recommend this to anyone who needs an upgrade.

Great CD player although it lacks some features my 40 ye old Technics model had. Excellent sound quality.
