Philips Sonicare HX9054/17 G3 Gum Care White 4er

I have always used the G2 heads on my Sonicare toothbrush. I have sensitive teeth and gums and a small mouth with overcrowded teeth. The G2 was perfect allowing me to reach all areas. Now this is no longer available so I bought the G3 heads in my last purchase. I do not like them. The bristles feel harder and the head is bigger. I find it difficult to manoeuvre around my mouth and am not convinced that the tooth contact is as good, especially as the outer bristles are shorter so I am not sure they always make contact. Maybe this is due to the larger head size not being suitable for me. I don’t feel as if my teeth are as clean as with the old G2. Please consider bringing the G2 back for those of us that like a smaller toothbrush head. In the meantime I am trying to find retailers who still have stocks of the G2 and when I can no longer source them it looks like I will have to find another toothbrush, which won’t be Phillips if they don’t produce compact heads.

I was really sold on the idea of these premium gum care toothbrush heads….but they have only lasted a week a piece as the tip of the brush heads keeps breaking off..!Annoying as these were not cheap!

The web page (G3) says "Soft" but the boxes (G3) that arrived say "Medium". Attaching Pics. Had gum surgery, Dentist told me not to use "Medium". Got the boxes in the mail today. Called to see what the deal is, told I can order "G1" if I want soft. They refuse to allow me to return these 2 boxes, spent nearly $100 for 2 packs! Talking to cust service; they will only replace 3 brush heads for the 8 brush heads I purchased! Asked to speak with Supervisor, she said she would do that for me. Came back on the phone and said that "through the curtesy of my supervisor, she will allow 6 brush heads as replacement". She was very clear (twice) that this was "a courtesy of my supervisor". I'm still 2 brush heads short of what I paid for. What is wrong with this company??

I was told by my dentist to start perio maintenance cleanings every 3 months. I used this Sonicare Gum Care brush head in between cleanings. I missed a cleaning due to the office being closed. At my recent appointment I had a new dentist who had reviewed my chart and previous visit notes. My new dentist said they could tell I had been flossing and brushing regularly, and that I may be eligible to stop perio maintenance appointments if I continue to improve so dramatically. My gums are tighter and no longer bleed during flossing and dental exams! IT is key to floss, then brush, then rinse. My dentist also recommended using a water flosser with 1:1 ratio of warm water to mouthwash!
