It works as it says on the pack. No startling changes.

When I replaced my old Braun Oral B rechargeable a few months ago (it had lasted me for many years – really not sure how long) the new one came with a CrossAction head. I found it excellent, the bristle formation and action really efficient on my awkward teeth (too many and crowded in my narrow jaw) hard to clean properly – and it lasted several months before I had to replace it. The forward and back-facing bristles and the oscillating head clean in between as well as front and back. I do use teepee brushes in some narrow crevices – as I said, my teeth are overcrowded but feel well looked after.

Really good toothbrushes, they last a really long time (for each head), about 3 months or so - and the brush-head colour fades quite a bit to let you know it's time to replace them. Even once time to change, the head still cleans quite well and still fairly firm. But a fresher, new head definitely feels like it cleans much better. Also, a new, firm head isn't 'painful' on the gums at all, but definitely has that 'firm strength' feeling.
